I APPLIED MINE ON 3RD DECEMBER 2011 IN CALIFORNIA OFFICE

Cool, I hope they send ours to CA too, the Vermont service center is so slow, CA is quicker.

i sent my I-130 on 27 dec to chicago lockbox and it was routed to californai service center, i got NOA 1 hardcopy yesterday.so pretty much my next step is waiting waiting waiting.

really wishing it's gonna be quick.

Is your file forwarded to CSC office? If so, they are processing August filers. So I don't think December filers will hear before end of May or June.

Better inform your spouse sooner than later :) I already told my wife to set the bars low for an expectation from CSC to get file processed quickly.
