I just submitted DS-230 to the NVC. I am on EP. What kind of time frame should I expect from now?

I have high hopes and already looking at flights. Thanks!

06/14/2011 - NOA1

10/21/2011 - I-130 approved (NOA2)

11/19/2011 - NVC recevied case

11/21/2011 - Called NVC for AOS bill and DS-3032

11/21/2011 - Paid AOS Bill

11/21/2011 - EP request and DS-3032 to NVC

11/23/2011 - EP came and DS-3032 accepted

11/23/2011 - Submit I-864

11/28/2011 - Paid IV Bill

11/29/2011 - Submit DS-230

12/05/2011 - Case completed

12/08/2011 - Interview date set

12/11/2011 - Medical exam

01/11/2011 - Document intake day

01/12/2012 - Interview - Approved

03/09/2012 - POE - LAX

I just submitted DS-230 to the NVC. I am on EP. What kind of time frame should I expect from now?

Don't look for flights now even though your almost done

it takes the nvc around a week or sth to complete case

and then you'll wait for your interview around month or 2 since the china embassy isn't crowded

I got my case complete on 21st november and waiting for interview in Cairo but it seems that it's crowded it can take around 4 or 5 months

waiting is really painful

Expect another week for the inclusion and review. IF there's no issues, expect about 10 days from the 28th for the casefile to be scheduled for an interview at GUZ IV.

Are you following Ryan H's forum topic? He documented everything he did, with the timeticks and time deltas . Also, are you studying yer prior topics???

07/07/09 : Married

08/18/09: I-130 Sent to Chicago

08/20/09: I-130 Received by USCIS

08/25/09: NOA1

09/22/09: NOA2

10/05/09: Received case# and gave emails

10/07/09: Received DS-3032 and AOS email

10/09/09: Sent DS-3032 email to optin electronic filing

10/15/09: Paid both AOS & IV fees

10/16/09: Received email electronic filing accepted

10/18/09: Sent AOS via email

10/23/09: Received email that AOS was accepted and waiting for IV

10/27/09: Sent IV via email

11/10/09: Signon to payment failure

11/19/09: Received email for interview - December 14th

12/14/09: Approved for Visa

12/16/09: Received Visa

I am still figuring out how to work my Health Insurance to cover my wife when she arrives.

Will start on prepping for interview immediately. Lots of things to do...

I can't speak for everywhere of course, but after we got married I added her to mine without any problems. I did have to consult the HR people as the online website was insisting on her needing a SSN, which she obviously doesn't have yet.

Trips:

Jan2010 - First Trip, met in person

Jul2010 - Trip two!

Nov2010 - Trip Three, Got engaged :)

Feb2011 - Trip Four. Spring Festival, Lucky Money all around :D

April2011 - Trip Five... Going to the chapel...

July2011 - Trip Six... Honeymoon in Xiamen :D

October2011 - Trip Seven... Beijing and the Great Wall :)

January2012 - Trip Eight... Chinese New Years and Spring Festival! More Lucky Money! :D

April2012 - Trip Nine... Interview?

7February2012 - NVC GZO (EP) case number assigned

8February2012 - 27February Massive delay caused by sending the EP OPTIN email too soon :(

28February2012 - AOS Fee Paid

29February2012 - AOS Fee shows paid, AOS Package sent in

5March2012 - IV Fee shows paid (paid on 3March), IV (DS-230) Package sent in

6March2012 - AOS Rejected due to minor error, corrected version emailed in

8March2012 - Email received indicating AOS correction and DS-230 review in process

9March2012 - Case Complete Email - END NVC PROCESS
