Here is my story below. I really appreciate if someone could help me on this:

I am a green card holder. I went back to my home country to get married this summer. But my fiancé was already accepted at a university in the U.S. So I was planning to bring her to the U.S. as an F-1 Visa student and not to face the F2A Visa issue. My plan was to be with her and get married to her once I got my citizenship. But she applied for an F-1 Visa and got refused twice, even though she was single. Then, we got married 4 days after her visa refusal and applied for an F2A visa 15 days later. My question is when she will have her visa interview, would this case (explained above) be a problem? Would she be able to get an F2A Visa? PLEASE HELP!!!

reasons behind the 2 x denial could be endless ... first she likely didnt show strong ties to her country that would make them believe she would return after her studies. Who was her sponsor and the relationship../ Was it you..? Did they ask her any questions about the sponsor..? Boy friend..? Her changes decreases the more she tries for the F-1 visa.

Her new case (F2A) will face no issues with the student visa she went after.. none. She is about 2 years away from an interview and entry into the USA as a LPR by your submission.

Thank you so much Ricardo. Yes that's what I believe too that she didn't show strong ties to her home country. But her sponsor was her father, and they did ask her if she was married. Because she wasn't married to me, so she said NO to the consul. And we are not gonna try for her to get an F-1 Visa, but wait for her F2A visa interview.

Think you're making a good decision to wait. Her dad being her Sponsor didnt help much... that's an immediate relative.

I actually have a similar question. We got married in 2009 and we consulted a few lawyers on the sponsorship process and were told it was taking 5 years for spouses to immigrate under the f2a at that time. We were told my husband could either apply for a job here or come here as a student. So my husband tried for an F-1 a few months after our marriage, but he was denied. Looking back it was a bad decision and we were not very informed that F-1 is not a dual intent visa. We did go ahead and file for his f2a after this. Does this have a negative impact on our f2a case?

no, it does not have a negative impact. Also the process takes about 2 years based on current processing times.

Guys, I have interview within few days!!!

I did apply for a visit visa to the US 2 times and both got denied due to not having enough ties to the country. ( Make since), that was around 5 years ago.

Right now i got married and I have an interview F2A visa .

So do you think those denied visit visas would effect me in anyway possible ?

Any tips will be appreciated

Thank you .
