Timeline

Is a copy of the US citizen's passport and birth certificate necessary? I don't see it in the AOS guide.

I included mine. To prove his US citizenship. Some people gets asked for it.

OP: I wonder if only 1 G-1145 is needed, because I sent 3 of them on top of I-485, I-765 and I-131 each and I got 3 emails/text for each applications. You may also include supporting evidences with the I-765 and I-131 such as copies of Marriage Cert, Visa and I-94. "Include any additional required supporting documentation or photos" is on the guide. Like those 2 are separate applications as well. idk whichever works I guess!

My marriage certificate has my husband's birth place on it, so I wonder if that's enough.

How about all the proofs of your marriage ? pics, utility bills everything you would have under both names. Where would you list these things at ?

I getting ready to prepare myself for the AOS as well.

I believe these are only required at the AOS interview. Not everyone is required to have an interview, but some are, and I think proof of relationship is brought up at that point.

I do not think my marriage license lists where I was born(I am the USC). That is what I thought to bring that stuff to the interview if you have one. I did add a bank statement with both of our names and and a cable/internet bill with both of our names. Debating weather or not to add a few pics.

It depends on the state, my Marriage Certificate doesn't have my husband's place of birth in there so I submitted his Birth Cert and passport photocopy.

Sorry, I just looked at your profile an noticed you just got here little over a month ago. I remembered you were always about one month ahead of my timeline and you posting in the many discussions about how slow the service centers were back in January/February/March of this year.

No they're not required for AOS from a K1. They're required if you have a co-sponsor but the USC already proved citizenship for the K1

How about all the proofs of your marriage ? pics, utility bills everything you would have under both names. Where would you list these things at ?

I getting ready to prepare myself for the AOS as well.

Not required to send these. Required IF you have an interview.

Coconuts, if you do not mind me asking did you send any photos and did you also have an interview?

I did not. I sent exactly what is in the AOS thread listed in my signature. Approved without RFE or interview in just under 3 months
