Lucky you! If you have not heard of the visa bulletin, then you are not applying for a visa in one of the numerically limited categories, i.e. you are much better off... The monthly visa bulletin gives information on the availability of visas in these categories. For instance, this month visas can be given to spouses of permanent residents if the petition was filed before 15 February 2009.

For January, I would expect another three to six weeks of forward movement. I don't think the priority dates are going to be moving any faster any time soon. If ever.

Wow it's going to be a year since the retrogression happened! Time flies by, yet we are still waiting....

I'm hoping it moves forward and doesn't stay stagnant!

as of today, there cannot be any retrogession in f2a bcaz we have witnessed all the cases in f2a watch list is getting intervies....so only possible bad news is slow movement and hopefully we will get some good 2 or 3 month movement in next few bulletins....
