My fiance has a tourist visa for 5 years. I am planning to file for a fiance visa for her. My question is what will happen to her tourist visa once I file for fiance visa? Can she still come to the US until her fiance visa is approved? or is her tourisy visa going to get canceled right away as soon as we file for a fiance visa?

There is nothing will happen to her tourist visa. However you want to be carefull at the POE. As you need to be honest with them, and note that they still could deny an entry.

It will get canceled once K1 visa is issued - not when you file for it.

She can use her tourist visa to come and visit you, there is nothing legally or technically stopping her from using the existing visa.

She should be ready to be turned away at the POE, lot of the times it can happen where officer would think she might mis-use the B1/2 if (s)he would grant her the entry.

She can bring evidence of her ties back home, basically strong reason why she would return back home and complete the K1 process.

Her B1/2 would be cancelled upon getting the K1.

Mine got cancelled when I got approved on my K1 visa So yeah, until then, she can still use it.
