We have been waiting for this since Feb. 2011. Our case didin't reach CSC until May 2, 2011. This is a bit sooner then we expected, but i'm not complaining. Just relieved that we have it and now we can respond to it. We decided from day 1 to let a lawyer handle our case, and after reading the NOIR I'm glad I did.

I would suggest anybody just getting started to front load their petition, as in our case the Embassy in VN, didin't look at a single piece of evidence, only the photos we had. The more evidenve you send to USCIS the less you have to worry about with the Embassy, IMO.

I live in Va and our case is in Calif. Snail mail bites. . .The noir was mailed out on Sept.7 . It will go back overnight , no snail mail for sure.

No Problem Daniel

1) Lawyer interviewed my wife ,and did a back ground check on me. He sttempted to turn in our evidence. but our cas had already been returned to UScis.

2) We had quite a bit of evidence. our joint 2010 tax return. all of our phone records, chat records, money i had sent my wife, letters, cards reciepts for roses i had sent her. the letters she had written me. all of my plane tickets, the visa stamps in my passport. all told we had 4 lbs of evidence.

3) as for cost... priceless, if it helps my wife and I being together. I would say his cost is very reasonable. I asked some stateside lawyers that didn't have his experience, and retaining him was a no brainer. Marc Ellis http://www.marcellislaw.com/

Marc is in Vietnam, which give my wife access to his office. also Mr. Nam does vietnamese to english Translations. . . .
