Well, just to let you guys know, that it works, and I am shocked.

I emailed the London embassy about an hour ago. I just received a reply that they have happily rescheduled my interview to October 5th.

I had no reason, I just emailed and said I'm ready, was it possible.

I'm so happy. As I was quite disappointed with my previous October 20th date. This is a big improvement.

We got our interview date for October 14th-yay!! However I was hoping to be able to take a job interview on October 17th in the USA,which isn't changeable unfortunately. So have just emailed the embassy just in case they can give me an earlier date. Hope so!

Got my interview date today! :) 27 Sep. VERY soon (but my case was expedited due to a family medical issue in the US).

It turns out the Embassy just went right ahead and booked us an interview date without waiting for any medical results (we thought they were waiting). I brought forward my medical to 14 Sep (wednesday just passed - all went well), it was originally set for 28 Sep. Well the Embassy sent me a letter, on the same day as the medical, that I received today (no link between that happening and the medical) with an interview date of 27 Sep - so the expedite really did work and saved us somewhere between 3-6 weeks going by the dates other (non-expedited) people are getting.

I havent a clue if our packet has been sent. How would I know?

I did receive a letter from the Embassy yesterday, saying they are ready for the final stage (interview) and its been scheduled for October 5th. I guess they must have our packet in order to give us an earlier interview date.

I received an actual letter. But I think this maybe just because I changed my interview date. They said in the email they would write to confirm the change.

Although the letter did not state anything about the change it just said that they were ready for final processing and my interview date was the new date.

We received only emails and the instructions ask us to submit original interview letter at medical and at interview. So we interacted with those that already attended interview, who informed us that they used the email copy as original without issues.

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

Just wondering which email address you used to contact the embassy? I rang the inquiry line and I think they gave me a different email address than normal as I didn´t have to enter a code. They also said that they don´t have my case details in their system yet- maybe this is why they haven´t replied yet. I´m trying to bring my interview date forward due to work opportunities when I arrive.
