The CSC to NOA2 has become very large. Hence I am starting this for the NVC Process issues for all who have their NVC Case Numbers to share and get benefitted.

We got our NVC Case Number & IIN on 6/22. Could logon to the NVC payment site and then sent DS-3032 email. Today we can't logon as NVC is maintaining their system and the system will be available again on 6/24 12:01 AM. So those of you who are wondering why they could logon yesterday and not today need not have to worry - you can logon again on Monday early hours.

USA

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

Since you have no timeline, I dodn't know at what stage you are in the NVC Process. I suggest that you check after 12:01 on 6/24 and if you still get sign in failure then your case might have been completed at NVC

Since you have no timeline, I dodn't know at what stage you are in the NVC Process. I suggest that you check after 12:01 on 6/24 and if you still get sign in failure then your case might have been completed at NVC

Man i was so happy my case got complete i guess its not they should have put the right time for system maintenance it says from 6pm so mad right now :devil:

It's gonna take a while after you get your NVC number. I would bet it takes 2-3 business days for them to scan the file into their system releasing the payment portal.

They said it would take 7 days due to the current situation, so I am wondering if anyone that had their cases 7 days prior are able to login or not. Mine is a little different case - NVC Case number is going to be changed, so I don't expect mine for another 7 days.

There was a thread in which there was discussion about using black or blue pen. As I am getting ready to send I-864, I am going through the I-864 instructions again and notice "USE BLACK INK" under "How should I complete this form".

I plan to send I-864 using black ink only, irrespective the discussions in that thread - I am trying to get hold of that thread.

07/18/2011 - NVC Received and got NVC case#.
07/18/2011 - Send my Naturalization Certificate via mail and email for upgrading my case from F2A to CR1.
07/19/2011 - Gave both emails to NVC and received IIN#
07/21/2011 - Got confirmation email about changing my petition from F2A to CR1. Up-gradation took 4 business days.
07/29/2011 - AOS Fee Bill Received & Paid Online.
07/29/2011 - DS-3032 Email sent to NVC from beneficiary.
08/01/2011 - AOS package invoice shows "PAID" and Package mailed to NVC.
