I haven't seen a thread for July 2011 AOS filers so I thought I'd start one.

Anyone else out there?

2011-07-16 - I-130, I-485, I-765, I-864, I-131 sent via FedEx to Chicago Lockbox -- AOS from E2
2011-07-18 - (day 0) Package received and signed for at Chicago Lockbox - signed for by S. BUSH
2011-08-11 - (day 24) all 4 email and text NOAs received
2011-08-12 - (day 25) Touched - all cases online and on initial review - Receipt date: 07/18!!!
2011-08-12 - (day 25) All checks cashed.
2011-08-16 - (day 29) Received Hardcopies NOA for I-485, I-864 & I-131 (and a check back from a form that didn't need it)
2011-08-17 - (day 30) Received Hardcopy I-130 NOA
2011-08-23 - (day 36) Received Bio Appointment for 09/06.
2011-08-24 - (day 37) Walk-in attempt - unsuccessful - rescheduled for 08/30 (gained 6 days)

hello...

we mailed our AOS package through USPS June 30, 2011, but technically they received it July 5,2011....

July 15, 2011 i got my NOA1 for AOS, EAD and AP...

On July 27, 2011 will be going to Jackson, MS for my fingerprinting and picture taking...

haha tres drole! En effet, peut-etre que Mercado is faster than Bush, but I am sure you will hear soon. I've heard of people never even getting the electronis NOA's and only receiveing the hard copies in the mail.

My Priority date is June 27th,but I only received my NOA on July 5th,so I think I'm closer to be a July filler than June.

I still haven't got my biometrics letter.

Ok. No e-notification yet, no checks cashed yet. It's been 7 days. Should I be worried? Does that mean that they are going to send the whole file back?

I'm not a very patient person. You'd think dealing with USCIS over the last 11 years should've taught me something...

I've read on this board that it can take up to 30 days and that is normal. Apparently, some people never even get NOA's, they'll just get a letter in the mail for their biometrics and again no NOA, and voila, the EAD comes in the mail. Whats more, even if I got an NOA, they havent cashed my checks either. That also can only take up to 30 days.

However, if I were you and knew others got an NOA and I didnt, I'd most certainly be calling USCIS to find out for sure. That's just me, a little OCD :hehe:

Yes, I could not agree more, it IS annoying as heck...:bonk:

Well, I'm no trend expert but I have heard from two other July filers whose applications were received on the same day as me and signed for by the same Mercado person and they did get their NOAs as the same time as me. Mind you, I'm adjusting from a work visa and they were adjusting from a K1 and a J visa...I dont know if the basis you're adjusting from has any bearing. I have heard that it does have to do with the person your case gets assigned to, because they could be on vacation or on sick days and that affects their workload.

I will definitely keep you in my prayers tonight. You deserve to get your NOA like everyone else who applied on the same date!! Bon courage :luv:
