Wait for the paperwork to go to NVC and get a MNL#. Then the world is yours. You will need this. 1 to 3 weeks wait.

There is alot of confusion about what to do after the NOA2. Yes, for the Philippines you need to wait for a MNL# from the NVC. After you recieve that number you can make a scheduled Interview and send Financial to your fiancee for the interview (I-134) Also, A MNL# is not needed for other things such a Police Clearance, CENOMAR is what I understand to try and get paperwork done. There are other Members who know alot more than me about it because they been there done that. I hope they reply as I can learn as well. CONGRATS Tim/Mav

This link will get you what USEM essentially sends out to the beneficiary: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/19452/public/Revised%20K1%20Instruction%20Packet%20_3__rtf2_001.pdf

Most of the things on the list can be done without waiting for the Manila Case # such as gathering Birth certificate, CENOMAR, NBI CLearance, Police Clearance if your fiance worked outside the country for more than 6 months, medical exam. To pay the Visa fee and schedule an interview, you will need the Manila Case #.

Good luck!

P.S. By the way, I noticed that on your profile, you identified the Consulate as being in Armenia???

CENOMAR, nbi clearance, police clearance, passport, birth certificate etc... the link you gave me is exactly what i'm waiting on, so i can set up her medical and interview. i am in the process of sending her an updated copy of the paperwork i sent to the USCIS when I filed for the I-129f just in case they ask her for it. i'm sending in my tax return for 2010 and tax transcripts for 2006-2009. payroll stubs, I-134, a new updated letter of intent etc... i hope everything works well. thanks for all the help dindo-patty, tim-mav!!!! So if I understand this correctly I can send my wife to do here medical now that I have her MNL case number? I only need the document coversheet with the MNL number on it and St. Luke's will accept that? Her case was completed on July 5th and now we are just waiting for the NVC to schedule her a appointment. Her visa is a IR-1 and I would like to send her to Manila and get the medical out of the way but getting impatient waiting for the NVC to schedule her. Thanks.

My wife is on a IR-1 visa, I believe that is why the NVC said they would be scheduling for us but not 100% sure on that. Thank you for the information.

Here is something my Fiancee sent me, I posted it in another topic for you as well... Good Luck & congratulations!!!

This is what we did after noa2..it made my process way more faster, my visa was approved less than a month.

1. First of all You have to be a team (You and your Fiance).

  • you have to commununicate, Tell your fiance prepare his documents

such as W2, 1040, paystub, bank statement, and the I-134 (affidavit of support, must be original signed by your fiance)

note: he can prepare this in 3 days while waiting for the time you need to do the no.2 tip.

  • send the package contained the important documents mentioned above.( you will need this documents in your final K1 visa interview in the Usembassy: TIP no. 7)

2. Tell your fiance to call NVC in 5days-2weeks after your received your noa2, here is the number 16033340700

  • ask the the nvc agent if you already have your MNL number.
  • if they tell you you don't have it yet, then you can call them back the next day.
  • and if you have your MNL case number ask them if when did they released your file for US embassy here in the Philippines. If they tell you its still in the process then you have to wait 2 days again then call them back."you need to know releasing date of your physical file so you will know and estimate when you will be elligible to schedule an appointment online".
  • you can email the NVC too. click compose message, write your USCIS case number, petitioner's name, and benificiary's name. atached to that your intent to know if you are already obtain MNL case number. write them(kulitin nyo)3 consecutive days. I-M-P-O-R-T-A-N-T: FOR THIS THEY WILL REPLY YOUR EMAIL AND WILL SEND YOU A CONFIRMATION THAT YOU HAVE YOUR MNL CASE NUMBER THAT YOU ARE ELLIGIBLE FOR THE NEXT PROCESS(attached here is your MNL case number). without your NVC elligibility letter you will be able to proceed to medical jst by printing the email confirmation because in this email your mnl case is visible. NVC email address NVCInquiry@state.gov

3. If you already have the date to which your physical file was released by NVC

  • estimate 1-2 weeks, while waiting: pay your visa at BPI, get your medical done.
  • after 1 week, or 8 days after the releasing of your file from NVC try to schedule online. Your file and mnl case number must be in US embassy system already.
  • note: *when you schedule online you have to register password, it should have capital letter, small letter, symbol, and number. -----and if you want to get the earliest date for your appointment be sure you are done with your medical. (this is for those who want the process to be fast) if your not done with your medical then do it one week before your interview, but if you are a 95-100% certain that you are healthy you can do the medical 4 days before your interview day. (thats what i did,im jst so pasaway hehehe) i did my medical monday and interview date friday.
  • if your not comportable to schedule online you can call the call center for the appointment here is the call center number +632982-5555 or visit http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3024.html
