My husband had his interview in May. The Visa Center told him they were forwarding the paperwork back to USCIS. He said they told him they were going to contact me to see if I wished to continue. Has anyone had this happen to them, If so whats next?

You will have to give more information. What happened at the interview? Did he get a white slip or any paperwork back? what questions did they ask him and what did they say to him regarding the petition. What type of visa are you applying for? No one can give you solid advice until they understand what happened.

I am the petitioner and it's an I 130 Visa. He lives in Jamaica and we are married. His interview was on the 13th of May. They only gave him our marriage license and our birth certificates back. They told him they were sending the paperwork back to the states and then USCIS would contact me to see if I wished to continue with the process.

was K-3 visa or IR-1 visa or CR-1 visa?

(all of those require an I-130 to be filed)

It sounds like they didn't believe you have a bonefide relationship and are returning the petition for possible revocation. You should gather up more evidence of your relationship and be prepared for a rebutal

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Read through the recent JA topics, there are 2-3 others in this situation, it definitely sounds like they didn't believe your relationship was valid - go over the interview with him word by word and find out what they asked him and what he answered - Follow the advice given in the other threads/

Why did you wait so long to inquire about what happen at the embassy. How long have you been married. What is the age difference? How many people were at your wedding these questions/answers can sometimes give a red flag

I called the Embassy the same day he had his interview. No one in Kingston would speak with me. I called the Visa Center and USCIS at least 2 times a week. USCIS just contacted me on the 31st of June to inform me that they receieved the paperwork on the 29th of June. There is an age difference between us of 27 years. We were married September 6 of 2009. I sent all phone logs, pictures, and all information pertaining to me visiting him in Jamaica. We were married in Jamaica and his mother, 2 cousins and his brothers girlfriend were present. My cousin and her husband accompanied me to the wedding.

Are you the oldest? I'm not trying to get into your business but you said there is a 27yrs difference how old r u and how old is your husband. When there is a big age difference it doesn't look that bad if you are in your 30's but if the person is younger like in there 20's it makes a big difference. will type more later gotta go
