I'm sooo excited to report that we got our NOA2! Apparently we were approved on 6/17 (I never received an email/text alert). I called in today to check the status and asked for a Tier 2 Rep at USCIS...and boy am I glad that I did. YAYYYY!!!!!

PS- The website still says 'Initial Review' so don't be afraid to follow up!

7/19/2011 - NVC Assigned Case # and Sent to Embassy

7/25/2011 - Embassy Received

7/26/2011 - Packet 3 Picked Up

What number did you call? options? I was wondering how you get to a tier 2 person to check further into the status. The person I spoke to basically said check the website and that I would have to make an "infopass" appointment in person at a local office for more detail.

I called the main USCIS number (800-375-5283), pressed 1 for English, then 2 for Case Status, then after it relayed the automated information, I pressed 3 to be transferred to a rep. When she answered, I immediately asked for a Tier 2 rep and was transferred.
