We don't know the exact time he's coming he has a lot to put in order before making the move. His visa will expire in June though so has to be before then so I'm praying for him to join me soon insha'Allah. How about yours?

He is on his way now and will be in Chicago in 17 hours!!!

He did not want to come this early. He wanted to wait 3 weeks. But all the airfare was 300 higher for when he wanted to come here. and the one way ticket today was cheaper so he took it. and then he had to rush around to close his accounts and clean things up and say bye to family and friends. It was quite overwhelming! But he did it!

Now his first plane just landed in Turkey and he will have to wait like 6 hrs before the Chicago flight leaves

and I have to drive through rush hour traffic to get to the airport to wait for him

I heard so many good and bad stories about Chgo as a POE. Some said 10 minutes and some said 4 hours

some said 2 quick officers and no questions and some said 4 officers and many questions

He is coming in a very busy flight time so i am sure it will take awhile to get through immigration. But I hope it is just an hour. His flight will be a 12 hour flight straight and I just wanna drive him home so we can rest.

Micki, congrats! I'm so happy for you. Oh wow, that's so rushed! That's kind of how my hubby's situation was. More than him, I was overwhelmed with everything I had to do here! In o'hare my husband came out about 2 hours after landing and he said customs were very smooth...hopefully same for you. He came for air Jordanian and it was a direct flight from Jordan- arrived around 7 or 8 if memory serves me correctly. Safe travels and wish you all well.

I think my hubby will prob be going thro JFK cause that's what Egypt air flies I should prob see how that POE is.
