Carrying documents to embassy in plastic bag?

My husband has his interview on Wednesday June 15th and bcos of the many documents he would like to take along with pics etc he needs to carry them in some sort of tote. That said, we also know he can't take any bags into embassy such as backpacks etc. Can he carry his documents in a plastic transparant bag? If so what kind?

8/31/15 Interview- no questions visa approved on the spot

Hi,

He can get the plastic bag at the embassy or yes he can carry his documents in the plastic transparant bag.

I took my documents in a transparent wallet (making sure I put a dark sheet at either side so no personal data was visible from the outside). The Snopake wallets are excellent. :)

ROC

AR11 filed: 02/05/11

I-751 filed at Vermont Service Center: 02/07/11

NOA: 02/14/11

Biometrics appt: 03/21/11

RoC Interview: Not required

RoC Approved: 08/04/2011

10 yr Green card received: 08/10/2011

hello

first of all good luck for interview wen i visited the US embassy he did not allow me to take anything inside even my cell phone just allow my wife to take his valet and he also thoroughly checked his valet while entering to US embassy so my suggestion is just take the papers (no bag or any thing which make him doughy )in transparent envelop or opened.

and dont forget to share the info what they ask or evidence demanded.

anyway best of luck just pray from GOD.

thank you and do tell me...my husband will not be traveling with anybody and will need his cell phone with him but i know he can't take it into embassy is there a place to lodge it for a small fee?

hello

if ur hubby visited the Islamabad embassy than they store ur cell phone against no money just mention ur name on ur cell phone for identification so u can keep ur phone along with them. but if possible than take no risk and drop ur cell phone in hotel
