It happened to me too. While the message from the post office saying like that, I got the txt message and the from the USCIS around 1AM of the 8th day after I sent it. it is more than 2 months since I fled my petition, but the USPS still display the same message.There is nothing to worry about. Since they got a lot of mail, the delivery person collect all the mails even without signing the certificate.

I sent our application the same day as you sent yours. I received *almost* the same message in my email this evening. It said they would try tomorrow but I figured Monday would be the day it was delivered. Best wishes to you!

Never send anything with a signature requirement. Simply send it delivery confirmation. Does it really matter to you the name of the person that picks it up? Requiring a signature and return receipt simply delays delivery time. Delivery confirmation will tell you "they got it" and that is all you need.

Not that it makes much difference in a process that takes months anyway.

lol, we had the exact same thing with our petition and we were freaking out but it got picked up we only wanted delivery confirmation but the lady at the post office put it down that we wanted a signature aswell :/ was all good though, got picked up , as will yours

I doubt the post office would try to deliver that late at night (We attempted to deliver your item at 8:42 pm) its probably a tracking scan showing the package arrived at destination seeing how it is a PO box and will be sign for the next business day.

This happens to me with lots of things i have shipped. If it requires a signature they send it back to the local office. I usually just call and pick it up later that evening when the truck drops it back off at the office.
