My update is.... it has been 61 days and I still don't receive my BIO appointment. 30 days ago I called to put a service request and the person told me that I should call back in 30 days if I still don't receive the appointment. So today(day 61) I called USCIS customer Service again and was told that nothing they can do, the only option for me is to wait and if I want to make another service request, I have to do it by myself.

so frustrating right now.

I hope you hear something soon. I also would INSIST to speak with the supervisor, and to call them daily until I would hear something positive.

Congratulations to those who have been approved so far!

Here's my update. I went to my biometrics appointment a few weeks ago, and it was okay. For anyone going to the OKC office, be advised, google maps may not give you the correct directions (I find this happens A LOT in Oklahoma and even Texas), so you may want to leave early and bring a map just in case. We left an hour and a bit earlier than necessary to get to OKC, but the directions were quite wrong, so we were headed in the wrong direction for at least 20 minutes (and then had to back track... through construction, and behind construction vehicles.) Luckily I have a road atlas with a mini map of OKC, so I sort of figured out where we went wrong and we were able to find the right way eventually. Also, it didn't help that the street sign was lying on the ground! We just guessed that it had to be the right street, and saw the sign after we turned. Also, the building is kinda obstructed by what appeared to be a trucking company headquarters, and the USCIS sign looks kinda like a sign one might make to advertise a garage sale, so then we almost missed it, too. (I'm pretty sure the location is more obvious if you're coming from the other direction) So yeah. Getting there was more stressful than it had to be. We arrived at 12:58, and the appointment was at 1:00, so phew. But then the security guy took my letter, he said they're probably going to have me wait or come back another time because I was late. It turned out he thought the appointment was at 11:00 rather than 1:00 and let us through once he realized that.

Anyway, there were I think 6 people waiting ahead of me, but they had Aladdin playing in the waiting room, which is one of my favourite movies ever, so that was neat. The people at the office were really helpful and friendly. The lady made me remove all of my earrings for the picture, which was a nuisance since I have 18 of them. So my ears are probably all red in the picture. Heh. Anyway, my middle name was spelled incorrectly on my appointment letter, so I had them correct it, which was no problem and only took two seconds (thank goodness!) And we were out of there in about 30 minutes, and met up with my in-laws for lunch, which was very nice.

So yeah, it seems that the people at the OKC office are very "by the book". They're friendly and efficient though, so it's not a bad thing.

And now I wait...

Wow what an epic event!!!! Congratulations on getting there with 2 minutes to spare, that is amazing! It seems as though having posted this you have helped another VJ'er out as well. That's what I like about this site, everyone likes to help.....well done!

i know exactly what are you talking about but i learned my lesson early and got me a TOM TOM lol i was at OKC office too middle of nowhere and off roads , GPS works good for places like that lol

To those who have received their GC...and to those who will get it in the near future,

can you tell me if they used your middle initial, or wrote your entire middle name? My husbands just says his first name and then middle initial, and of course our last name. It's like Smith, John D , and I'm wondering if it's supposed to be like that. I know on his last GC his middle name was spelled out, and on all the paperwork we wrote his full middle name....just wondering why it says an initial

One more to the California approved list !!! This was lightning fast !! :dance:

I remember so clearly when I used to be upset with CSC because they took 10 months between my NOA1 and NOA2 on the Petition for fiancee. So, things are getting way better!

Oh boy, i am soooo patiently waiting for my approval. My hope is high seeing other fellow CSC filers already approved. But hey, take a closer look will ya?! CSC been approving the ones who had their bio on 7/22 B-) except no-where-man (he's special)
