Hello fellow members,

I really need your help or any advice u can give me for a friend of me who's situation is very complicated.

Here is the situation:

She is married to a US citizen and is a permanent resident(10 yrs. green card). She has 2 kids with her husband now and is happilly married.

Now the complicated situation is this; when her husband now filed a petition for her years ago she was legally married in the Philippines ( NOt annulled as of now). And in the form she filled out during her k1 process,, she answered "NO" in all her paper works when asked if she was ever married and had kids?

Now her daughter in the Phils. is now 15 yr. old and she badly wanted her daughter to be with her which mothers and parents am sure will understand.

Now here is my questions and concerns for her.

1. Is there any hope/chance for her to get her daughter here?? if so what petition should she file??It's gonna be her USC husband who will file the petition for her daughter.

2.Would she have future problems with her not being annulled and was able to marry her husband? (they got married in Saudi Arabia-the girl worked there and where she met him) in bringing her daughter here?

3.What is the best way or steps if any that she should do first to petition her daughter?

Please,, let's try to help an aching mom wanting to have her child with her for the past mistakes made.

I appreciate any ideas u can share.

If the marriage was never annulled and she had a daughter and she knowingly lied on the forms.

She is not eligible for GC or the Citizenship as her marriage itself is not legal on basis of which she got the GC and Citizenship.

This is someone who has committed Immigration Fraud and if USCIS ever finds out they can revoke all approvals and order her deported.

It would not be a good idea for her to file or Citizenship or be involved trying to bring anyone else here as these events will put her records in front of USCIS again.

She took a shortcut so many years ago that will continue to haunt her. She is a Bigamist which is illegal in both the US and Philippines, oh and both countries to prosecute bigamists.

She had misrepresented herself, USCIS will find out one way or another. I am amazed they didn't from the start.
