Thank you very much!

NVC assigns your RDJ case number which you can then email to the embassy requesting your interview date. I recommend calling NVC directly and speaking to an operator since you won't know your case number to include in the email. Like another poster said, they will also send you a letter. I was too impatient in my case, and just called directly. If they say they don't have your case, call back in a couple of days. It sometimes takes a little while to log the cases. Good luck!

Also make sure you give them a few days to actually get it. Once approved it takes 3-7 business days for NVC to receive and enter into the system. You can look at our timeline and see the times from approval to NVC receiving and then when it left NVC etc.... Just keep in mind that it could be faster or slower than ours.

Good Luck

Hi! Have your fiance call with case number, they will give him the RDJ number. after a couple weeks, email Rio Consulate with RDJ number and they will give you the date for the interview. It was 6 weeks later the info arrived via mail to my fiance in Brasil, so email is best. Prepare everything now for the interview, the interview will be about 6-8 weeks from now.

Boa sorte!
