I know there is a forum for oct/nov filers..I'm on there:) but trying to discover if anyone else is still here from Nov or earlier that hasn't been approved..service request said background could be 6 more months...

I know there was quite a few 11-22-10 thru 11-29-10 not approved

When I went to USCIS I did like WAC11901219-230 and there was 5 not approved.. The I jumped to like wac11901401 and there was a large amount of November filers not approved.

Have you called USCIS and talked to an officer..or Tier 2.. What about a congressional liaison?? Service request means little according to USCIS officer. When I did my service request all it said was a decision would be made by 5-25-11...

My husband applied for my K-3 and I-130 July 2010. I'm still waiting. Our case was transferred several times. The NVC lost my husbands affidavit of support.

We still don't have any appointments.

Background check for what, this is complete bs.. The caucasus countries always get sent to the rear it seems....... they must think everyone is still a communist..

I am a January 2011 filer. I saw a lot of December and few Jan's approved, so I called up the customer service number yesterday and they told me at CSC they are currently working on November 16, 2010 date applications. Don't know how true it will be, but there's some hope !

I am a November I-129F (K-1) filer and we got the same response as you to our service request - extra 6 months for background checks. I wish they would give us an RFE and at least let us respond to something... but it seems that getting your congressman involved did help so maybe I will try that too. although they didn't help us much last time...

2009/06/19 - 1st NOA 1 (I-129F)

2009/10/07 - NOA 2

2010/01/11 - interview; result - approved

2010/01/18 - received passport with visa in the mail

2010/02/05 - embassy calls and asked to return visa for a "correction"

2010/02/09 - fiance returns passport with visa to embassy

2010/03/09 - embassy tells us we are in "administrative review"

2010/09/07 - fiance receives passport back with canceled visa and letter; our petition has been returned to USCIS

2010/11/08 - 2nd NOA 1 (I-129F ROUND 2)

2011/04/19 - service request response - 6 months additional extensive background checks

2011/08/22 - 2nd NOA 2

2011/10/04 - interview

2011/10/20 - visa received

2011/11/04 - POE

2011/11/25 - legal marriage

2012/07/21 - wedding with family and friends!!
