Has anyone flew to JFK via Uzbek Airways from Tashkent Uzbekistan with stopover in Riga? can you please share your experience? do you have to change the planes? is it confusing? my fiancee knows very little english and wanted to know if she could stay in the plain during this stopover in Riga. I see the flight number from tashkent to riga and from riga to jfk is the same number (101), so I am thinking it is the same plain flying from tashkent to jfk. Thank you for your help.

Generally, the best way to find this information is by contacting the airline itself. Often times, airports/airlines change their polices, so what someone experienced a couple of years ago might not be the same today. With that being said, some airlines are pretty bad about keeping their own staff up to date on polices, it might not be a bad idea to call several times.

Yeah, the best answer you'll probably get on this is the one you research yourself. You should be able to email the airlines if you don't need a "quick" response, and most airlines will have someone who speaks english if you want to call them.

Make sure you have a list of questions prepared.

I wouldn't worry about her English skills with the places she's stopping in.

Riga is a stop over for many flights including ones from Belarus. She will have to switch planes but seeing how there are many Russian speakers there she shouldn't have any problems.

Now most flights from Riga to the US go from Riga > Amsterdam or Riga > Stockholm. Check and make sure if she has another lay over before flying across the Atlantic.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."
