Hello, it is me again. I previously posted regarding the extensive RFE I received which basically tells me they are suspecting my case is a fraud type case or something. One of the areas on the RFE asked for evidence my parents are aware of the relationship, they also wanted all of my family memeber's names in the United States. My father died 9 years ago, I got a copy of his death certificate and attached that. My mother had a stroke in 2003 and does not have the cognitive ability to comprehend as she should, we do not talk about relationships. In addition, my mother and I have always had a strained relationship. Anyhow, getting to the point. My sister has power of attorney over my mother due to her medical condition. She wrote a letter attesting to my mother's condition, my relationship with my mother and that she is the power of attorney. I attached this letter too, in addition to a copy of the power of attorney paperwork. I really have no relationship with extended family members since my grandparents passed away. It's not like I am going to start calling them up after 8 years and tell them about my relationship. My sister has attested to the relationship and I am wondering if it would be helpful to have my girlfriends write a brief statement as to their knowledge of the relationship, or if that is a waste of time. If anyone can give me some advice on this, that would be great. Thank you!

Also, I think it might be good to have a letter from his family side. His brother/sister or any other member... I think that will help. (So that they know that his family approves too.) because if they think it is fraud.. they might be thinking that while YOU love him, he is in this relationship just to come here. So it will be good if some of his family member can attest that they aware and agree with it.

Peace.

I agree, have them write some. Also if you go to church/ mosque, having a cleric write an affidavit could be good.
