F1 case complete and waiting for visa # availability

I am optimistic that come October we will see some movement in the visa bulletin. My priority date is June 5, 2006 and I am hoping to be current....Any F1 here who would like to share their views?

not possible. Even before it retrogressed the dates did not get to march 2006

All the talk about retrogression is for F2A … but at least they are moving forward now. Category F1 has been heavily hit by retrogression, I would say that in some sense even more tan F2A, and worse of all, it is not moving forward yet.

So I agree with Ricardo… I do not think your PD of June 2006 will be current by October 2011 (unless they do the crazy-moving-forward strategy again), but I do expect it to begin moving forward once again in this next June Visa Bulletin.

my cousin's case in this category was completed back in October... no interview as yet.

i think it should atleast move 6 months..because cases are completed for next 2 years and they are just waiting for visas..and october is begainning of new fiscal year..!!.so lets hope for the best.!!..

Keeping my fingers crossed! … I hope October VB will bring some good news.

At this point any forward movement will be a positive sign.

case complete as of March 2011, but no interview date :(...

lets keep praying, october will bring good news for sure .

Because i know a lot of ppl of 05 have had their interviews but haven't received the visa. so i bet it should move atleast 6 months-year..and i hope they dont run out of visas before my priority date which is april 2006 .
