We recently rec'd notice from the USCIS to get Van's biometrics completed for the removal of conditions and the form indicated that we would see the I 751 reflected as the CR 189. Does Uncle Sugar really need multiple numbers for the same function? Also....why is the California Service Center supposedly so fast while the Vermont Service Center drags on & on. Why in the world, when I live in Texas do I have to send everything to VT, when CA is closer & apparently more efficient?

Well I live in Texas and went through the I-130 process with my wife from here. We went through Vermont and they were slower then California. Our case was transferred to California when then fell to far behind just like they are now. However, my wife is here now so I don't mind the wait.

I married my love on 12/24/07

I filed for the I 130 on 1/23/08

Receipt number recevied 2/13/08

Paperwork sent to Guangzhou on 1/23/09

Interview 5/21/09 PASSED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Visa 5/23/09

POE 6/2/09

Home 6/3/09

FILED I-751

SENT PAPERWORK 3/8/11

NOA-1 3/10/11

BIOMETERICS 4/29/11

WAITING APPROVAL
