US Post office EXPRESS mail to Dallas PO Box?

Quick question.

I am getting ready to send out my I-129F

It says for US Postal Service to send to the Dallas PO Box

then it says

"For Express mail and courier deliveries:"

to send to the Lewisville, TX address

I was going to sent it via Express Mail US Postal Service. I am assuming that can go to the Dallas PO Box correct?

I had filed a petition previously and sent it to the California PO Box via Express Mail US Postal Service and it was accepted just fine.

I just wanted to confirm before sending.

I just wanted to confirm before sending.

Do not use the P.O. Box use the LEWISVILLE, TX address for express mail they received mine the second day with no problem...

Does anyone else have input on this? It is a bit confusing because they state US post office mail can go to the post office in Dallas. Express Mail from the US Post office is both Express and US Post office.

Any thought as to which is faster? Do envelopes sent to the PO Box get processed faster or slower then if sent to the physical address in Lewisville, TX? I assume the headquarters fir processing must be at the physical address? And those would in the hands quickly then someone having to go get the items from the post office (next day?)

This is perhaps not an answer to your specific question, but it's worth considering. Use USPS "priority mail" with delivery confirmation (a small yellow slip that you get at any Post Office). The green "certified mail with return receipt" card will take more time, in comparison. Overnight Express mail (or FedEx) is NOT necessary. Edited by TBoneTX

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I just noticed all of my letters are addressed to the PO Box 660151, Dallas, TX address. Therefore I assume I should send it to the PO Box.

What can be accepted there? Priority mail (US post office), express mail (US post office)

I sent USPS Priority flat rate with Delivery Confirmation to the Dallas PO Box as it said on the instruction sheet. So far so good, it should arrive tomorrow.

K-1 Visa Process:

Feb 28th: Sent off petition

Mar 8th: E-NOA1 notification

Mar 14th: NOA1 hard copy

June 6th: E-NOA2 notification

Dec 13th: Medical

Dec 13th: Interview (APPROVED!!)

Dec 22nd: Received Visa's - wrong gender on son's visa :(

Sent my package to Texas using USPS next day air...my packet was processed the same day it was received.

12/31/10 USICS Notification on Website

05/04/11 2nd notice of Approval via website and text message! Thank you Jesus!

05/09/11 2nd notice I-797 hard copy arrives in mail.

05/11/11 NVC receives approved K-1 visa

05/13/11 NVC ships K-1 to Bogota

05/16/11 K-1 arrives at Embassy

05/18/11 E-mail Packet #3 to Embassy

07/28/11 Appointment scheduled at Embassy in Bogota. # Visa Approved #

Hi all, just to make sure I understand correctly, no one has experienced that neither PO box or other address Lewiville, TX is any quicker than another correct. So sending to the PO box via USPS is perfectly fine, correct?

?/?/1992- I relocated to Ecuador when I was 12 yrs. old, and throughout my time there, met my now fiancée then first boyfriend. We dated on and off even after I returned to the US. Then we split as childhood relationships tend to.

10/3/2009- I went back to Ecua after 14 years and we reconnected, got back together one day after my arrival. I was now 31.

1/3/2010- I returned to be with my sweetheart, and ensure myself this was it, result-it was ok to let the heart lead.

9/23/2010- Ecua bound once more

10/27/2010- He proposed while I was in Ecuador =)

6/21/2011- Received our NOA1!

10/5/2011- Received Noa2

2012 fiancé arrived we married ~ best decision ever

8/2012 applied for AOS

9/2012 RFE 1 for not translating birth certificate

6/2013 RFE 2 for a mistaken blank space under spouse name and vaccination record

I used express mail. sent it the 6th and was received the 7th got my noa1 the 12 with a date of the 7th

They received it and processed it the same day.

Express or priority or regular mail...it's really just your preference. But express goes to lewisville and all other to dallas lockbox.

If using strictly USPS you mail to the P.O. Box. If using commercial carriers (i.e. UPS, FEDEX, DHL) you mail it to Lewisville TX. I don't think it makes a difference. I sent mine USPS priority flat rate mail on April 1(Friday) and they received it April 5 (Monday). Then was forwarded to California Service Center. I am from California by the way.
