Hi everyone!

Does anyone have a direct number for the Vermont Service Center or and idea as to who to call once we get past the five month mark. I know some people say it won't do any good, but others say it helped. I just need to know who to call. I did manage to find an email address.

Thanks!

VSC - If you believe that there is a problem with a case that you have filed, you have moved, or if you are in need of other services, please call our toll free customer service number, at 1-800-375-5283. Customer service can help you with a variety of services for a case that is pending or completed.

You should find their phone number on your NOA1 also.

So I emailed Vermont last Friday and have not received a reply yet. I also called customer service on Friday, spoke with a gentleman and told him my situation. He put me on hold, called the VSC and then told me the only information he could provide was that they were working on petitions from August 21. I told him that I knew some petitions from September had been approved, but he had no response. I didn't make it to Tier 2, but I'm going to call again this week and see if I can make any more progress. It was nice to see a few more September filers get approvals today!

Hi, I saw this on your timeline.... Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between March 16, 2011 and March 28, 2011*. Ours says Feb.28th - March 9th, I will hold out till the 9th and then start to call. The 9th marks the 6th month for us, I sure hope we have it by then. I can say this, VSC is moving soooooo slow these days. If things keep moving at this pace all of September won't be finished until the end of April. We will keep our fingers crossed for the September folks :)

So I called the customer service number again and the woman offered to put in a service request, but the computer would not allow it, so she transferred me to a supervisor who tried as well and also failed. The most he could tell me was that it would be another 32 days. I guess they're still working on August 21 (though Sept filers have been approved...). After calculating the NVC time and the London consulate time, our total wait would be around 9 1/2 to 10 months... ridiculous!
