Positive for Class B tuberculosis

According the following I have Class B tuberculous. I don't understand I was vaccinated as a child and have never had any chest infections let alone TB in my life.

It says "in case you are found with Class B TB." You don't have it, they are merely informing you how long the validity of the visa is if you had been diagnosed with Class B TB.

hi,.ptb is not hard to treat,just 2weeks of continuous treatment you wouldn't be contagious anymore,and 6months of continuous treatment you are free from disease,of cor's your not infectious anymore...so i think embassy wouldn't hold your visa after treatment..(correct me if im wrong)

There is time for everything...do not panic!not sure yet.

Sorry I misread the email I received, but I still don't understand why I am not being given at least six months to enter the US and I they feel I should pay a further $404 on top of the thousand dollars we have already forked out for a visa.

Again, in the e-mail it said that if you did not use your visa, you must return it...and if you wish to re-apply for a visa the new fee is $404.

When your IR1/CR1 visa is issued, you will have up to 6 months to use the visa to enter the U.S.

Do you have the passport with visa? What does it say on the actual visa about validity? What did you say in your email to them?

Visa is usually valid 6 months, but sometimes less, especially if the medical was done a long time ahead of the interview.

To come to think of it I did do my medical back in October. Dam I should have waited but I honestly didn't think this would be an issue. The fact that they won't another $404 dollars just to reissue my visa is really, really annoying.

Did your xray actually confirmed that you have TB? Just a curiosity..I was vaccinated as a chiled and my skin test showed positive, but the xray confirmed that I did not have TB... just wondering...having my medical (again - soon).

No it didn't confirm I had TB, all it was is that I misread the original email I received from the embassy didn't understand that it actually said. Basically I need to enter the US within six months of the date of my original medical exam otherwise I would need to retake the medical exam and pay for the cost for reissuing my visa.

Okay, do you have a vaccination record showing that you received the TB vaccine in the past? If you do have the record you received the vaccine....the X-Ray is not needed..isn't it? Then the limitation wouldn't apply, would it?

Maybe get your vaccination record...or get the TB vaccine... just throwing some thoughts...I remember the civil surgeon that was doing my medical told me that I wouldn't have to do the X-ray if I had my vaccination record... because i didn't have it and the skin test turned out positive (because of the vaccine)i had to get the X-ray and get another vaccine....well at least I have the record of the 2nd vaccine now, so i'm definitely bringing that to my medical this time...hoping for no X-ray...

I have a question. In my medical result turned out I have CLASS B and the validity of my medical only valid for three months. Now I'm under AP and my medical will expire soon.

Do I need to retake my medical again in case my Visa was released after my medical expires? again do I have to do another SPUTUM and wait for another 8 weeks?
