See below!

A lady from the embassy called Natoy and told him she was emailing packet 3. In her email she said to send in DS-156, DS-156k, DS-157, DS-230. THAT IS WRONG!! You are to only send in DS-230pt. 1 for and interview date.

Natoy then went and applied for a non-impediment to show he has never been married. Runs around 8,000JA.

After we sent in the DS-230pt1 there was another problem becuase in the email it also told us to send to Monroe RD. NO WE WERE TO SEND IT TO OLD HOPE RD. So Nattoy went and filled out another DS-230 and sent it to the right address.

Then a week went by and still no packet 4. So Nattoy emailed kingstonivinfo@state.gov. He put are case number on the subject line which will get you a faster response. Then BAM!!! 10 minutes later they emialed us packet 4!!!!!

So now Nattoy has everything he needs for his interview. Except the medical and police certificate. He is going to kingston 2maro to get his police certificate and fingerprints which will cost around 4,000 JA. He has scheduled a medical which will cost 100US at the door and aroud 50us for each additional shots he may need. Which shouldn't be much becuase he has his past vaccination records.

Closer to the interview he will get the passport pics he needs and I also sent him 5 passport pics just incase. He will also pay his visa fees at the apprpriate bank. I sent him everything he needs from me so I think after he gets police certificate and medical and pays fees we will be good to GO:) Hope this has helped.

Do you think it would hurt to email and send by regular mail form 230 part 1? I emailed it, but should I mail it also just in case?

I mailed mine. The e-mail thing was to tricky for me. :) Just remember if someone tells you to send it to Monroe Rd. That is wrong. Remember to send it to Old Hope Rd. I can't remember the exact address.

What is proof of engagement? I saw it on one of the DS forms? I have proof that we communicate but how does that prove the relationship. Also what is proof of financial support? I don't support my fiance, but that is also on a form as something to submit.

Proof of relationship...5 pictures of you 2 together, e-mails, chat logs, skype records, phone records, western union recipts, flight intenerary, copy og passport stamp, letters, ring recipts....These all can be used for proof of relationship, and the other things like flight itenary are for proof of meeting and seeing each other.

You must prove that your husband or wife will not become a public charge.....You must make over 125% of the poverty line based on how many people in your household including your fiance....If you do not you will need a co-sponsor.. There are instuctions to fill out the I-134 form on the guide section on this website. If you do not show proof that you or someone you love can support yout fiance by filling out n I-134 form then they will get denied.

I sent nattoy an I-134 form filled out by me... 7 recent pay stubs, bank statment, proof of attending college and college transcripts, and 3 years worth of w-2s

My mom is co-spnsoring us becuase I do not make 125% over the poverty line.. She filled out a I-134 form, sent him that and copy of her passport, bank statement, employment letter (if you search for empolument letter on this site you can see examples) , 3 years worth of W-2s
