If thats the numerical limit in 2011 I think some of the 2008 files might have already got visa. Moreover DOS didnt published any waiting list in 2008.They just want to clear off all the pending files between 2005 and jan 2008.Number of applicants between this time period will be low when compared to 2010(Especially the last half of the year)

RETROGRESSIVE CUT OFF DATE WONT BE EXACT DATE THEY ARE WORKING TODAY. IF SO THERE IS NO MEANING TO RETROGRESSION. RETROGRESSION IS JUST TO KEEP YOU IN HOLD FOR A WHILE SO THAT THEY CAN MAKE THE ZIG ZAG WAITING LINE BACK TO NORMAL. We will get a clear picture after feb bulletin. GOOD LUCK TO ALL.

Just a prediction.

2005-2007: will get cleared soon.but visa bulletin wont change.(2011)

2008: bulletin will start move forward. but slow movement.(2011)

2009: very slow movement.(2012-2013)

2010: very slow movement followed by another retrogression.(2014-2016)

I took about 20 min and read over the " Annual report Immigrant visa eff nov. 1, 2010. Not 100% clear but honestly felt good while reading it. My priority date is January 3, 2010 around when do u think the case maybe "current" for jamaica... In the F2A? Per the report jamaica wasnt sitting high on the top 5 countries. The total visa for the FY 2011 is 88,000 and asumming any other visas not used. what is the per country limit?

Best way to get everyones waiting time is to consider yourself standing in a queue of 685902.(2008 not included) and look ahead.How many people u can see with your EYE. Lets say its 100. you will get frustrated but still good. If it is 645567.(you cant see with your vision)

The lenght of such a queue will be 100 miles! Real Nightmare! Corelate this with available yearly limit. we all get our waiting time!

Our predictions go wrong when we think in terns of month/year.For instance Dec 2009 & Dec 2010, the difference is just an year But can u imagiine whatz the actual number of applicants in this one year. 60% of all the pending application is from 2010. 35% fom 2009. 2008 not available(assume its 15%). 2005- 2007 (still needs a complete clear up. may be 1% or NA from next month). Always think in terms of this 6 digit!(685902).

Data from 2008 is not available so its difficult to calculate.I think 2010 jan is far better than end of the year.Currently only mexico is oversubscibed all others comes under worldwide category with same cut off date.

We cant discard 2009 & 2010 pending application and its in 6 digits. Only good news is that they never mentioned any 2008 pending applications.May be the pending application are very few or they are currently working on 2008. In that case there is a high probablity of bulletin to jump to 2009 in a couple of months after retrogression.Retrogressive cut off dates are not always current data. Its just a method to control the further inflow and approval of application by bringing the cut off date to an earlier time frame.If someone got any data for 2008 please post.

According to DOS site, per country limit between 2%-7%. DOS never published country version of visa bulletin and NVC only schedule interview accordingly world wide chargeability cut off dates.

It is enough clear pictures in January visa bulletin that, they haven't started for 2008 PD, According to AILA recent posts, also mention that DOS will recovery the visa number has been assigned to case by monthly cut off dates. for example, someone PD from Feb/2008, and got scheduled interview for in january/2011, it means consular wont issue visa, take the visa number away and send back to DOS.

If we look at december bulletin cut off date is AUGUST 2010. In just one month 32 months retrograded! Tottally messed up!!

Analyzing the ROW data from USCIS site as of 10/31/2010

National Trend Approval of I-130 =1086531

Field wise Trend apprval of I-130 = 2661

Total--------------------------------------= 1089192

F2A waiting List-----------------------= 361038*

*This number included 2006/2007/2008/2009/2010.

I think Feb/2011 will go 4-6 month backward. I dont see any move forward.

OMG this is HUGE messed up!!!!! DOS has to wait another 10-20 years to clear up this mess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bonk:

Its mean who got the GC in 2010, applied for spouse....simply have to wait for till become USC!!!!!

They should work in coordination. Thats y uscis approval rate higher than NVC workload. Anyway thanks for the info.
