I got an RFE on Thursday because I didn't sing the I-864. Only my husband did. I should beat myself but then again I'm only human. I have to do both my mom and my MIL papers and with a pregnant brain not everything is clicking lol.

Due to the snow storm I wasn't able to mail it on Friday. I'll have to mail it out on Tuesday because Monday is Presidents' Day. Hopefully they'll send it right on to Kingston like they said.

I hope everyone will have a speedier NVC process. It's been 3 months since approval

My case was approved on 02/06. they sent me this we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283..

Is this mean My case was approved and transferred to NVC or Im going to receive a second note like this we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

I called NVC yesterday, they said my case wasnt in a system yet.

Just to be prepared, I check online DS-260 under Immigrant section at under https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx. I want to assign my husband as a COA. What should he selects: Principal Applicant, Petitioner, or Third-party agent?

I feel you. I made much much mistakes that delay a lot of my parents' processing. Every mistake I make is another 20 days delay...sigh* oh well. We just have to keep moving, no matter what.

Based on the instructions given you would list your father as a family member traveling with or within 6 months of the principal immigrant, but you also need to fill out an I-864 for your father and list your mother on his form the same way you listed him on hers.

I am sponsoring the following family members immigrating at the same time or within 6 months of the principal immigrant named in Part 2. Do not include any relative on a separate visa petition.) and also answer 2a, Family Memeber #1?

Exampe, in Part 2 i list my dad name and in Part 3 I check #2 and fill-in 2a which is my mom

And then on another I-864 I would do the same but just the opposite name.

This is a tricky one but from what I understand you do NOT list the other parent on the I-864, as they have a separate I-864. This info was given to me by folks who just immigrated and are on this forum and their daughter initially put down both parents and got a checklist to correct it.. I am not listing my parents on the same I-864. Also be careful when calculating your household size. If you currently have a family of 4 for example, plus one parent, you would enter a total of 5, rather than calculating in each parent to make a family of 6. The reason being is because each parent gets a separate I-864.
