hi can i ask?? what's a CENMAR? i thought we only need the Marriage Certificate? i also thought na ung CENMAR saka ung Marriage Cert isa lang. . .iba ba yun?

i did bring cenomar to the usem but they didnt ask for it,just bring to be prepared!

NEGATIVE. The CEMAR is not the same as the marriage certificate. From reading the forums here, it seems that it's asked for every now and then but not always.

This is a sample the the NSO marriage certificate that you're probably familiar with:

If you go to NSO and request a CENOMAR and you've been previously married (meaning previous to requesting the CENOMAR), what you will get is a CEMAR.

My wife will have a CEMAR in her possession when she goes for her interview. We don't want to take any chances.

My husband and i got married on AUG 20 2010. His CENOMAR, that was needed to apply for our marriage license, was dated JULY 19, 2010. ONE month before our wedding date. we both have never been married before. do u guys think this is enough to supply the reason why they ask for a CENMAR?

I suggest you get a CENMAR just in case because if it is asked for their is no excuse to not have it. You will then have to get it and submit it back to embassy and it will make your time till visa received way longer as your file goes to the bottom of the embassy pile.

Sis, pwede bang yung personal copy ko na lang NBI ang ipi present ko sa embassy or do I have to get another copy of my NBI? The NVC has it already and they are going to forward it naman sa embassy di ba? And what is CEMAR? Ano sasabihin ko sa NSO pag kumuha ako nyan and how many days before ko yan makuha? Bakit kailangan pa yung pay stub, employment letter, w2 eh pinorward na yun sa NVC? Ang alam ko original AOS ang need nila kasi yun yung nabasa ko sa St. Lukes.

What's missing? I guess your secondary proof of your identity. Nabasa ko yan sa site ng embassy. Example baptismal record, school record and old ID's. Tsaka second proof of the citizenship of your hubby.

I added copies of I-130, DS-230, and original NOA-1,2 just because they were there with the rest of the stuff.

Question, did you get an original appointment letter or using one that was emailed?
