I'm confused. why are you December filers not in a panic because you have been waiting so long. I filed in March and I am expecting (hoping & praying) that we will get our noa2 in the next 4 weeks. If we have to wait over 6 months for our noa2 we will be devastated. My heart goes out to you and I salute you for your patience.

Hang in there. Gary

My advise to you is to get serious. You are dealing with the US Government. I had this illusion that because we filed our K-1 in Early December (mailed it in November) that we could plan for a wedding July 9th, sounds good right? WRONG!!!!!! And my friend, we are assigned the California service center, I pity those from VSC. After NOA #2 your case can bumble for a month just getting from USCIS through NVC to the Embassy and even then your interview appointment is a month out. The people who go from NOA #1 to POE in 7 months are just plain old lucky but I sure hope you will be one of them, that would be wonderful. Godspeed to you guys!!

Hello all!

I'm just stopping by to say hi! I'm working full-time and teaching on-line so I very little down time. Mark and I are still waiting for package 4 w/ an interview date. He has been calling every Friday to determine what's taking so long. We thought he would have received the notification by now, but not yet. The last representative he spoke to stated it could take 1-2 months to receive package 4. It's been a little over a month now so I guess it will just be a matter of time. I'm just so anxious because I'm also going to Guyana for his interview. I want to make travel plans, but of course I can't without knowing the date.

I hope the process is going smoothly for all my fellow Decemberites!

Yes? You rang?

You replied on my post dated Jan 2011... but you said nothing??

I read your next post (the one above) and wonder if you're reading the USCIS Goal Times they post on their official website? Last I knew it was 5 mos+ (and that is not a guarantee btw). So.... sit tight cuz you're in for a little bit of a wait.

LOL... where on earth did you see 4 WEEKS to have your NOA2 approval??? Must be joking or mistaking that for the NOA1 date...

Was this your confusion?

Mari

PS: WE DECEMBERITES DO NOT PANIC BECAUSE WE KNEW WHEN WE FILED OUR PETITIONS THAT IT WAS GOING TO BE A FEW MOS. BEFORE WE GOT NOA2 APPROVALS.

CONGRATS on the completion of your first Couch to 5K!!!

I went to my doctors thinking I needed a vaccination and low and behold I didn't!

Maybe you will have the same luck.

My exciting news of the day, I am jumping up & down....I found a harpist to play at our outdoor wedding! She knows our situation and will still do it on our backup date...which we won't need because I am going to maintain faith in everything!

Enjoy your day,

Lise
