anyone's I130 got touched recently?

mine was touched 02/28/2011

I applied I-130 under F2A on Dec 8. But it is continue to say 'case can not be found in the system. But when I call USCIS, they told me the case is in their system. Last week I also receivedn e-mail from USCIS saying my case is in their electronic system and within the processing time.

Has anybody in the similar situation like me? USCIS agents kept saying me large number of cases filed in Dec/Jan has not been put in their case status system.

I had that issue and I addresed it to the service center who contacted the IT department. I will forward you the sample which is likely to fix it for you.

Whenever I called using 1800 number, I get to second level agent (because first level could not solve this issue) and agent kept insisting nothing to worry or onetime a lady told me checking case online is a privilege only.

Answer -

Attorney Dimo Michailov: Ricardo, thank you for your question. The F2A category is expected to move very slowly going forward. Unfortunately, due to the initial forward movement at the end of 2010, there has been a very high demand in this category so the forward movement is expected to be very slow until USCIS/DOS can clear the backlog of F2A petitions pending and can get some control over the numbers of new petitions coming in.
