I Have a similar question, my lawyer filed the papers in my maiden name, I remember asking her about that but she said we have to do it like that! But now I see all these people filing in their married name.... Is ther ANY way to change the name of the greencard at some point to my married name? Im going to apply for a new passport in my married name next year!

You will have to fill out the I-90 and apply for a new card in your married name....and pay the fees associated with it. If your GC has not been issued yet you may be able to make an infopass appointment and see if they can change it before it is issued.
