I should also add as a public service announcement any veteran (almost) may be eligible for limited healthcare through the V.A.

I found that out when I went to get an I.D. card for discounts at Lowes and other such places.

I never used the VA medical and probably never will because I have health insurance. None of my vet relatives used it either as far as I know.

I did use the GI Bill and the VA home loan but you can skip the latter if you've got 20% down.
