You still have not done yet. There is an appeal process. Now find out a good immigration attorney and go for an appeal process. The key here is you have to establish the "real married relationship" to recover from this mess.

as much as i wish i could say it just happens to Cr-1 and k-3 petitioners,it could happen to anyone in a marriage/relationship based process.

That might be the problem. If you need over 4 lbs. of paperwork to prove something very simple, or you feel the need to drown the I.O. in 4+ lbs. of paperwork, he or she might have felt bullsh*tted and closed the file to avoid going through all of this stuff. They are people too, you know.
