Question though: What is this "time line" everyone keeps referring to? Where does it show that?

You know the timeline you filled out with all of the information regarding your case (name, country of beneficiary, service center, NOA 1 date, RFE date, etc)...on the very bottom it gives an estimate of when your case could be adjucated based on recent approvals from your service center.

If your case is at VSC there is a good chance it won't say anything, but if you are at CSC it will probably give you an estimate. Hope this helps.

It would be nice if we could get 2 June, July, August applications approved in one day.

I think all you September and October filers should be sending us thank you notes for letting you cut in line.

I agree, not really fair but the latest records of aprovals show that's not really a fast lane towards the NVC for them!:)Not even one got NVC# yet!;) Hopefully they will realize that before senting sep.oct. fillers off to the NVC they will first get done w/jun.july.aug. However this case with "post decision activity" does not mean aproved, Trust me! Me and a few others (july/aug) have the same and STILL waiting , this case has to take a no. :)

The best thing you should do is call them every other day but don't stop @ the first pers. ask to talk to a supervisor(officer)!! get an info pass online(you do quilify since you are over the 5 months)write to your congressman/woman, senator.

read carefully! "post decision activity" does NOT really mean "aproved" isn't it?!It's either one or the other ;) The notice (NOA2) must simply say: your petiton # is "aproved" than you wait to be fwd. to the NVC! Hopefully after the July/Aug fillers ;) good luck!

There seem to be a lot of people here who see the view the more recent filers who have gotten approved before the 5 month timeframe as the "enemy". I'm sure there isn't a single Sept/Oct filer that is happy about what has happened with the June/July/August filers, yet, in your post you seem to be clearly glad that a lot of the recently approved Sept/Oct filers have yet to receive an NVC number.

People, please don't forget that we are all here with a common goal in mind...to bring our loved ones to the USA. The recent filers are not at fault for the CSC to TSC drama/injustice. Why should their cases be put at a standstill until all of the remaining June/July/August cases are approved? If they were approved then they deserve to move on to the NVC and Consulate stages.

I bet that if things were different...if it had been the March/April/May filers who had been screwed over, while the June/July/August filers were breezing by, you wouldn't want them to put your case on hold after it had been approved, just so that the filers before you could catch up...why?...because it clearly would not have been your fault that you got approved before they did...only the USCIS is to blame :bonk:

Yes, we all want that, but ALL of us have to go through a process that doesn't need to be postpone for months, only for them to use their time working on petitions that were filed WAY later!!! I didn't say that your "special" case should be put on standstill but to be put in # line!! SImple as that! I just hope that after the noise that we will make together (July & Aug.) they will wake up and straight thigs up!!!!

"DRAMA"...?!!?? Are you calling this a "DRAMA" ?! I hope you will have a taste of this drama yourself! Wait 7 months and than tell me and other fillers like me if you liked it!!

These folks have gotten an NOA2 and are moving on to the NVC, and the NVC is -probably- handling cases in the order they are received. The TSC cases, as sad as they are, have NOT received an NOA2 and moved on to the NVC. I feel very sad for anyone who is waiting longer than the already lengthy process requires, but I feel like your being a bit harsh on folks. Delay of your case, and others, is no reason to hope for delay of other folks' cases. We're all here for a common goal, and I'm sure the good people who have gotten their NOA2s would gladly wait their turn if you were at the NVC in front of them, but it seems a bit odd to be angry at them for moving on to NVC only because there is a group of people who have suffered the at the TSC. Your complaints would perhaps seem a bit more logical if these October filers were receiving their NOA2s from the TSC, while other TSC folks from June/July/August were not, but thats simply not the case here.

Good luck to you and your spouse, I hope your approved today and that you get to the NVC ahead of me, honestly. But I don't wish anyone to wait a day longer than they have to, and I hope the folks who got their NOA2s today and yesterday fly through the NVC at warp-speed.

I guess I misread your post. The way I understood it, I thought you were saying that those cases that were approved should not be forwarded to the NVC until the June/July/Aug petitions are approved. I've re-read your post and want to know if what you really mean is that the recently approved Sept/Oct cases should be put in line, and that the recently approved June/July/Aug cases be forwarded to the NVC first? If that is the case, I agree, but only, and I repeat ONLY if they were approved first, because the way the system should work is "first come first served". What I had a problem with was the idea that the cases which have been approved be made to wait until all the other pending cases are approved. Do you see what I mean?

I apologize for using the word drama. I did not mean to imply that you guys are making a drama about it...you have every right to complain...I sure as hell would too if I were in that situation. That's the first word that popped into my head for some reason and reading it now I see why it has upset you, because that was not the proper word to use. If I could edit that post I would replace it with an accurate synonym for injustice.

I am happy for anyone that gets approved. This process is difficult even if you didn't have to wait.

I just think the Sept/Oct filers should be thanking us or the USCIS for transferring us to TSC. Because had we stayed in CSC all of the Sept/Oct approvals that you are seeing would actually be the June/July/Aug approvals and you guys wouldn't be seeing anything until April/May. So I guess when USCIS transferred us the intent was to speed up the process and it certainly did for some people.

It is disheartening to see someone who filed 3 months and 5 days after we did get approved before us.

Hopefully, the NVC is processing on the initial priority dates and not the order received.

logically thinking NVC would i guess process them as they receive them irrespective of priority date, i guess the priority date is important during the NOA1 to NOA2 step but at NVC stage i don't think so but i could be wrong, i don't see a reason why they will hold the approved petitions which will in turn cause another backlog.

just my two cents...

I can't speak for everyone else here with any authority at all, but I've been reading these forums every day and I'd be very surprised if there was more than a -very- small minority of people who are 'happy' or 'thankful' for the horrible situation you folks that got transferred to TSC have to put up. I can't imagine how hard it is, and I really do hope you all get approved immediately. Had any of us been given the choice of 'speeding up' our process by relegating those that went before us to some interminable TSC wait, I'm positive that the vast majority of people would have waited in line --- everyone on VJ has already demonstrated their willingness to wait and do the right thing merely by going through the I-130 process as opposed to breaking the law.

All that being said, I hope that this recent increase of "I just saw another October filer get approved, #######!, those jerks!" posts die down. If we could make the system right, we would. Nobody here wanted the TSC group to go through extra wait, we didn't ask to have a more efficient process at your loss, and its certainly not my desire to cut in line. I imagine it must be disheartening to see someone who filed later approved before you --- I would be disheartened too, honestly. But the injustice is from the USCIS, not from the Oct/Nov/Dec filers, and I think most of us would like the TSC group very much to get approved and move on to happy lives together with their spouses.

I really, honestly, wish that you all get approved immediately. And if you and I got approved today, I'd hope they'd start on your file first. I also hope that everyone in this mess of a process roots for one another, we should all be happy to see anyone approved. At the most selfish, its at least one more file off of someone's desk so ours can be there, at best, its another person we've been in the trenches with that has won the war.

Thanks for clarifying. I agree that the transfer must have seemed like a good way for them to speed things along for everyone but boy did they do a royal job of screwing that up! It sucks that the transfer only worked to the advantage of one particular group, but since nobody asked for this I think the USCIS would be the only ones to "thank" because they're the ones who created this mess in the first place.

I just sincerely hope that they will straighten it out soon because it sucks to see people be treated this way when they have taken the extra steps to do everything legally.
