Just thought that I'd update anyone here in the same situation as me. I jumped through so many hoops and listened to probably a half hour of scripted talking to find this out.

My adjustment of status is based on a K1 visa, and I filed an Adjustment of Status April 2 2010, got transferred to CSC April 27th 2010.

The lady at USCIS told me that they are processing March 22 2010 applications.

So yeah, just a heads up to anyone still waiting! The site shows a 4 months wait time, but I'm at a bit over 5 months, was starting to worry!!

This isn't accurate. I filed in April and i have my GC already. If they were truly only processing March 22 applications I wouldn't have my GC and I got it in July.

This isn't a qn re AOS process... moving:

** moved from "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" to "Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports" as the prior forum is for questions and this one is for updates/progress**

Yeah, unfortunately sometimes it can be a bit random. I did a spreadsheet of the average days per month of transfers, which you can take a look at.

I was very fortunate and had my case transfer in early August and in late September got the approval.

Naturalization

9/9: Mailed N-400 package off

9/11: Arrived at Dallas, TX

9/17: NOA

9/19: Check cashed

9/23: Received NOA

10/7: Text from USCIS on status update: Biometrics in the mail

10/9: Received Biometrics letter

10/29: Biometrics

10/31: In-line

2/16: Text from USCIS that Baltimore has scheduled an interview...finally!!

2/24: Interview letter received

3/24: Naturalization interview

Thanks for moving this to the right place... Yeah she did also say that every case is different, and something like, some cases may be processed faster, some slower (so don't hold us to any dates or time frames that we may give you hah) etc etc... Happy to hear you got yours already, looking forward to getting mine soon! =D
