hello everyone

please bear with me here, i am new in this site and i am seeking for some suggestion how to do, what to do, and when to do the naturalization. i am married to USC before but we are not legally seperated, we have our both shortcomings and i cannot deal with him anymore, we've been to a lot of counselling but it wont work, i am asking for a divorce but he wont give me. and i am planning to get my parents in here but somebody told me that i need to be a US citizen first before i bring them here.

my timeline

conditional card: August 29, 2007 (2 years green card)

remove condition approved got my 10 year green card

Question:

when is the right time to apply for citizenship?

how to apply

what document that i need ( note: i am not living with my USC husband anymore)

how long does it take.

As you are no longer living with your US spouse you can apply 5 years less 90 days from the date on your green card which says resident since.

You cannot apply under the tree year rule for a spouse as you must be living together to do so.

The earliest you can become a US citizen is August 29, 2012.
