TomD...

u know tomD im kinda losing hope... my hubby texted me and he told that he cannot contact nvc... its always busy... his calling like 5ox already... really hoping to have a november date interview... im so happy that u and emily and others already have an interview date... hope that i will also have mine in a couple days... =)

Don't lose hope... Just have your husband call during the evening hours before Midnight or early in the morning. 730 am eastern timezone and he will be able to get on line. Use your speed dial or redial that makes it much easier to do. Like I said you dont have to worry You will get your interview day. Keep the faith and keep trying to call. November is still a month away so there is lots of time.

I guess my Birthday has lots of POWER!!!:lol: What you need to do is think of all the things you will miss when you leave Chile. Then go experience those that are easy to do. You never know when you will be able to do them again. I told my wife to go get her message with her mother and get her hair cut, eat her favorite food and take pictures of all of it. She is still working but I hope she gives notice and stops working long enough to relax and enjoy her last days with her family and friends doing the things she likes. Arent I sweet

moniquez user_popup.png Thank you so much dear lord for this good news for me... NOV 3,2010 i have INTERVIEW...I call NVC today and that the update to me....Thank you to all people VJ's pray for me

This person called today so I figured let me call and see... I mean her case was done 9/14 sooo.... NVC operator tells me that they schedule on the second week and I asked to speak to another person that had more information than her and she would not do it!!

But what really irks me is that she tells me to call during the second week of October because they are not scheduling yet???!!! Hello this nice lady just got hers today!!! :bonk: :bonk:

What's the catch?? Darnell you around can someone please explain this to me please??? I am calling back tonight!! HA!!

ok I feel better lol

Uhm - I can't call anyone to get you the right information. but

here's what I understand -

at some point, you gots a 'sign in fail' on the online payment portal

and then

that tagged you as 'documents complete', then yer casefile got lobbed over into

the queue for 'final review' .

WHEN final review is finished,

and IF ya dinna receive any @#$@$ checklist letter,

then

yer casefile is lobbed over into the 'waiting for interview' queue.

Once it's in the 'waiting for interview' queue, ya wait, a bit,

as it's truly a queue.

Now, the good news is that EACH COUNTRY has a queue

(each country that utilizes NVC for appointment scheduling, that is)

so

there's not any 'global queue' - it's specific to Country

with that said

you should find out exactly what the status is, on the casefile -

IMO, IF you had 'final review' complete any time last week,

then yer in the 'waiting for interview ' queue.

so - some pointed questions to ask, when you call back -

--what was the 'documents complete date' ?

--what was the 'final review' date, specifically when was it completed?

--are the namechecks complete? if not, how long will this additional processing last?

--is the casefile IN the 'waiting for interview queue' , or not ?

--will my casefile get scheduled for an interview, this week, or not?

--give me your definition of the calendar days for the '2nd week in October'

---------------

Then make note of the answers, and note you might need to call back a few times, to get these answers.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
