I sent the I-129F package to the Dallas Lockbox P.O. Box address using USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. I just checked the tracking info online and this is what I read:

We attempted to deliver your item at 9:03 am on September 15, 2010 in DALLAS, TX 75222 and a notice was left. You may pick up the item at the Post Office indicated on the notice, go to www.usps.com/redelivery, or call 800-ASK-USPS to arrange for redelivery. If this item is unclaimed after 15 days then it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.

Will it get delivered properly to a P.O. Box.? Should I be concerned about this? Maybe I should have sent this to the Lewisville address.

I think that someone posted this concern a few months ago. I do not know how that got resolved.

Also the ZIP Code is wrong, it should be 75266.

Any thoughts?

Oh, yes, that happened to us too. But... put both zip codes in google earth and you'll see it's the same building. It will be delivered in Dallas, TX 75266, eventually, you'll see. There's really no need to panic. Check again later, you'll have the good news and you'll feel relieved. Although, you can start feeling relieved right when you read my reply. :P

Although the message sounds weird and the zip code seems wrong, things are as they should be. You're package is safe and will get to 75266 in no time. A notice was left because there was no one there to pick the package, but it's ok. They'll come for it. Good luck! Happy to help you with this issue. We were sooo scared when we saw the "wrong" zip code, but then...

Don't panic. Someone just needs to come and sign for it. It is a P.O. Box and since it is priority, it requires a signature. Once the person comes he/she will sign for it.

oh

you did 'delivery confirmation with signature' , right ?

if just 'normal' 'delivery confirmation' - is no signature required.

wait a week, the usps man and the uscis postal dudes will figure it out - that notice will be bundled up with the 1000 or so others received this week (due to the same mis-mailing that you did) - and the USCIS postal dude will hand over the bundle of signed delivery receipts, then take all of that pile o mail (that was mismailed) , including YOURS , into the USCIS mailroom.

For Now - No Worries, is NOTHING YOU CAN DO about this.

Suggest you wait a week, keep checking USPS online tracking status each day.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

No... really! NO need to worry. We sent our package last week and that's exactly what happened to us, but my previous post says it all so I won't repeat it.

A recent post has been split from this thread, moved to the K-1 Case Progress subforum, and given the topic title "Petition Still in Transit after 25 Days? [split topic[."

Thread from 2010 is now closed to further comment.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
