well what they have approved is your petition, which approves your relation ship as couple, now they will send you biographic form generally called DS 230 and affidavit of support fee bill which you have to pay, after that they will send you affidavit of support form(which needs to be filled out by petitioner)and ds 230(which needs to be filled out by beneficiary)after you return this to nvc, provided evry thing gets completed you will have visa interview call.the whole process from here will take about 6-8 months provided there is no delay from your side.

ok - so you got in via DCF - Direct Consular Filing.

Cool !

Now you need other stuff - YOU need DS-230, yer USCitizen spouse needs I-864, plus a medical exam on you.

Good Luck !

Nuni's suggested 'timeline' is for those I-130s filed to the lockbox in Chicago, with additional NVC processing.

Thankfully, yer doing DCF, instead, so will be much shorter amount of time for you. Same steps, different filing method, same forms.

First of all CONGRATS on having your I-130 approved.

Second I am confused, you filed the application lets say yesterday, last week, whatever and you got the interview the same day. Are you for real? Are you both currently living in Egypt? I totally thought it was requierd to file it here in the US to your corresponding State's lockbox. Dammm, if thats not the case. Im pretty pissed at myself now, for not going there directly.

Can you please enter your timeline information. Please explain better how you did your filing. Did you also file for a K3 visa or the IR-1/CR-1 visa?

Hoping to get your reply promptly.

Its not like that .Relax and take a deep breath .

They filled for DCF '' Direct Consular Filing'' which means they should live together for at least 6 months '' its almost the same timee that people wait untill they get approved at USCIS level '' so the embassy ask them for an interview .And it seems like they approved him '' its like the USCIS approvee your case'' .

And then the embassy will send him packet 3 which will be forms and stuff like that and he will have to have medical exam .......... and then when he will send his packet 3 back to the embassy .They will send him packet 4 which will be his interview .To see if they will give him a visa or no .

Good luck and my best wishes for you .

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .
