Here's my story:


  • December '09 - Met via Facebook
  • Fell in love just a few months thereafter
  • 7/18/2010 - I flew to Trinidad and met for the first time
  • Spent two weeks, one of which was in Tobago
  • 8/20/2010 - re-visited and spent a few days
  • 9/9/2010 - Mailed I-129F to Texas via Express mail
  • 9/10/2010 - Post Office forwarding package to another TX location

December '09 - Met via Facebook

~ Fell in love just a few months thereafter

7/18/2010 - I flew to Trinidad and met for the first time

~ Spent two weeks, one of which was in Tobago

9/9/2010 - Mailed I-129F to Texas via Express mail

I guess I'll join the club. I just sent the I-129F package out today. I used USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Since Japan is a low fraud country, I hope it moves quickly and smoothly.

I guess I'm official. Went and mailed it yesterday. Gah! Partly excited and the other part is having a mini-meltdown. I feel like I've been babying that application for so long that I'm panicking now that I can't make changes :(

Also freaking out because it's not just playing dress up anymore. I could very well be married in the next 9 months! Holy Toledo. Anyone else feel like that? The postoffice worker was like. stop worrying and just give me the package! :P

Here's an abbreviated timeline of ours :

Met on Skype- Jan 2008

Started "dating"-Feb 2008

Met in London in person -March 2008 (really fast, huh?)

Met in Felixstowe, England- December 2008/January 2009

Met in Felixstowe again- May 2009 through September 2009 (I stayed longer than the month I had planned :P)

During that time, got engaged sometime in July haha neither of us remember the day. must've been the celebration wine!!

I went home SOOOOOO sad :(

Applied for B2 Visa in October or November DENIED

Applied yesterday for K-1!!

Another September 2010 filer. We sent our I-129F on September 7 via USPS with Delivery Confirmation. Our petition has been routed to VSC already. Good luck to all of us!! May we have a smooth sailing. And of course, we'll drink 'lots of patience' every single day. :rofl:

I'm guessing we will be a little drunk at the end of the USCIS process. :D
