I just called NVC the automatic response system said they need 6-8 weeks to process the checklist letter response. I called again and spoke with a customer service representative and she told me that my case is complete and is now waiting to be scheduled for interview at the Islamabad embassy. She said they schedule interview on the 2nd week of every month for the following month. She said something like October is out of question. I still dont understand why its out of question. I dont know when would be the interview. Can anyone give me an estimated time line as to when to expect the interview. It will be much appreciated.

I just tried loggin in the NVC payment system and login failed. woohooo.. hehe sorry im just a little excited.

02-23-2010: I-130 NOA2 (Approved) in postal mail

03-09-2010: Received DS-3032 / I-864 Bill

09-12-2010: Interview date received via email.

10-05-2010: Interview.

10-05-2010: Visa Approved.

10-05-2010: Visa Received.

It means that your embassy is backed up because a lot of people are getting interviewed. Maybe a November interview is more likely. It all depends on the embassy.

Are you male or female?

Because after the interview, males from Pakistan tend to be stuck in AP which takes a long time aswell.

I don't know if the same goes for females too.

Congratulations on your case completion. :dance:

As msd posted, interview dates depend on how busy your consulate is. Some filers are lucky to get an interview the month following NVC completion, others wait months. Best to check with filers at your specific consulate for more detailed info. Good luck!

The beneficiary is female so hopefully the case wouldn't get stuck in AP for a long time. I really hope Islamabad embassy isn't backed up. I would love to have the interview schedule for next month.
