OK based on a special request :dance:, I'm starting this thread for NVC filers of September. My case was just approved today, so hoping first week of Sept my NVC Journey will start.

CSC - IR1


  • 04/01/2010: I-130 mailed out
  • 04/04/2010: I-130 received (Priority Date)
  • 04/15/2010: I-130 Hard copy received in mail
  • 08/26/?2010: I-130 Approved (Confirmed by phone)
  • 08/29/2010: Received NOA 2 Hard Copy

  • 09/16/2010: NVC generated case number
  • 10/04/2010: I-864 AOS review fee ($88) paid online
  • 10/05/2010: DS-3032 COA emailed to NVC
  • 10/06/2010: I-864 AOS status 'PAID',
  • 10/07/2010: AOS package mailed out
  • 10/12/2010: I-864 AOS package delivery

I would guess lots of calls to NVC are silly and should not be made but people being what they are just clog down the system. Then those who have reasonable and legitimate issues have to wait because

-APPROVED: 6/2/10

93 days from NOA1 to NOA2

-Received NVC case number: 6/9/10/10

-Gave NVC my e-mail address & e-mailed DS3032: 6/10/10

-Received NVC e-mails (DS3032 and AOS Fee)& paid AOS fee: 6/11/10

-AOS Fee shows as PAID & paid IV Bill: 6/15/10

-IV Bill shows as paid: 6/6/10

-Received IV instruction packet: 6/8/10

-Received dox from co-sponsor: 10/14/15/10

-Sent AOS package: 10/18/10

-AOS package received: 10/19/10-J.Desmond

-IV Package mailed out: 11/3/10

-AVR says I have an RFE: 11/5/10

I know, right.. It seems like the NVC "6-8 weeks" is not really working lately - RIDICULOUS!!! :blink: And to think we don't have our case number yet, not to mention IIN.. :bonk: I sure hope people start getting back from vacation, so this whole process would speed up a bit.. :whistle::innocent:
