Hi everyone out there,got my interview date but would love to get more info about police report and medical test.After downloading the forms do you have to write or fill any part or you just take them like that blank to kimoras and the police head quarters in Ikeja,Hoping to get some good answers soon.Thanks everyone.

you need to go with your interview letter to komarass specilist and be there early in the morning,no need to book an appointment its walk-in,then for the police character you can only do it at alagbon close in ikoyi not ikeja.once you get to alagbon just ask for the forensic section.

Thaks for your quick response but,the forms are they to be filled in by me or will it be done when i get there @ komarass and @ alagbon as you said?

Just take the blank forms to the clinic. They will know exactly what to do with it.

What if the interview letter hasn't arrived (you know Nigerian mail). My fiance and I have been waiting for it, and he has not gotten it, but we got an email stating the date of the interview from the Lagos consulate. So what does he take to the police and medical test-is this something that can be downloaded?

Sorry M2MarryN, but the Lagos Consulate does not mail out any interview letter. You can email the Lagos Consulate or call the Department of State (make sure that you provide youe fiancee NVC case number) for your interview date. I hope that was helpful

You dont have to write or fill in anything on the forms just take the medical forms to Kimoras and the letter that you download to the police in Ikoyi. here is the link http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/forms/forms_1342.html

here is the link to download pkt3 http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/forms/forms_1342.html you download the medical form and take it with him/her to Kimoras on VI then the police letter take it to the police station in Ikoyi that should be back in less than a week. hope the info is helpful and good luck. again as stated before Lagos does not mail out interview letters

yea just go with the form,the nurses will fill it for you.you will be asked to pay 1o,000 naira on day one,and the balance on day two and if you require extra vaccine you will be asked to pay additional 2,500 naira.

Thanks-we are now past that-unfortunately the US Embassy didn't tell him/us that the police record certification is only good for 3 months. He did it, paid for it and now it expires a week before his interview date.

M2MarryN, Thank you for that information on the Police Certificate, every where I have read in VJ says it is good for 6 months. So what you said is good to know.
