07/19/2003 - Met here in the US and just clicked

05/2004 through 08/2009 - many trips back and forth by both of us, phone calls, care packages, etc.

02/14/2008 - Engaged (she was here in the US for Valentines Day so I figured make it official :))

11/21/2009 - Married with a few friends and some family in attendence.

CR1 Timeline:

01/12/2010 - I-130 Packet Sent

08/30/2010 - Interview completed, visa granted.

08/31/2010 - Visa in hand!

09/07/2010 - Arriving Seattle.

09/17/2010 - Received SSN.

10/01/2010 - Received green card.

Removal of Conditions:

06/06/2012 - Mailed I-751

06/12/2012 - Got back I-751 as "too early"

06/13/2012 - Re-mailed I-751

06/18/2012 - NOA1

07/13/2012 - Biometrics Appointment letter received (scheduled for 08/06/2012)

08/06/2012 - Biometrics completed.

I learned the same thing from NVC operator. She indicated that Islamabad slots were already filled for August interviews. NVC will schedule and let me know after August 15 if the interview is scheduled for the month of September. Otherwise they will let me know after September 15 if the interview is scheduled for the month of October, and so on :wacko:

Why can’t they schedule now for September slots for those whose applications are complete. I do not understand.

Any luck with the interview date so far gurububba??

I have been calling to check if our package has left too. We were scheduled on June 28 for Aug 24, and STILL no AVR update. It still says "your case was completed on May 11 blah blah blah."

I haven't waited for an operator yet to ask. Think I may do that later this week.

My CC was June 10... and I just checked the AVR...

It says my package was forwarded to the Sydney Consulate on July 20... so it took them just a little while... haha

No, no luck. I called NVC once again and the answer is still the same. They will make September appointments for Islamabad after August 15 and let me know if we were assigned an interview slot in September.

Hang in there...we'll definitely hear something..insha'Allah..by the end of this month...i'm hoping for an early september date...keep us posted...

do you know of any other people from pakistan whose case closed end of june and are awiating an interview call?

Are there really only 15 interviews scheduled for next month?!?!?! There were sooooooo many in July and now....:(

I would expect more as well, however this isn't the only "visa support" site, so it's possible that other sites have a larger number of members with August interviews. What makes me think this is that I'm told US Embassy in Japan is *very* busy with immigration interviews during July, August and September and my wife is the only Japan interview on the list for August.

Just a thought.

I have a question: How I get information on: when our packet is will send to embassy?

Our case was closed June 29 and NVC give information on my interview is for September but they dont say date exactly. Thank so much and bless
