BDay present for my husband

Hi everyone,

every year I try to create something new as a birthday present for my husband.

This year it is a photo album with photos from all around the world. The main idea is that I send everyone who agrees to help their personal word which whould be written down/printed. And then this person takes a photo of himself/someone else/group of people holding a sign with this word, prefferably in the city near the place which can be recognized. It's not a must, of course.

At the end when I gather all the words I arrange them in a great scrapbook album so it he can read a Birthday poem.

My idea was to ask for photos not only my husband't family and friends but people who he doesn't even know but who send him their warm wishes from everywhere.

I already have wonderful pics from Italy, Switzerland, Russia, Germany, etc, and there are children, dogs, cats, grannies :) It already looks fantastic!

Unfortunately there have been pretty many people who offered help and then disappeared. I've never heard back from them. So I'm afraid that I will fail my present.

If there is anyone who could help me, please do! It only takes a few minutes but it worses the result :)

P. S. I've been to Hobby Lobby today getting things for my album and got some wonderful scrapbook paper and stickers which show France. I haven't got a pic from France yet, but I don't lose hope :)

You know, I was surprised to see how people who don't even know me wanted to help but some of my Hubby's family members and friends didn't even reply :(

That is such a cool idea! How many spots are left, and which areas are you aiming for?

I've got 23 words left. I thought by this time it would be much less :(

There are no particular areas. My husband likes traveling (he's a pilot) and knows much about world geography. I'm sure he'd like anything! I don't have any photos anywhere from Asia and Australia at all. Europe would be great, too. But the main treasure is people, not places, I think :)

His Birthday is at the end of July but I'm afraid it will take so much time to make an album itself (with all decoration, I mean). Actually I think I can start working on pages only and then add photos. When do you think you'll be in these countries?

England right now. France next week. Holland probably the following week. Norway at the end of July (I think), not sure on a date for that one yet.

Oh, I should admit that it wasn't completely my idea :) I read it somewhere many years ago. The girl in that magazine story was walking around the mall making photos of people. I just thought that getting pics from different countries would be more interesting :)

My husband should be a very lucky man, almost the whole album is made by beautiful girls already :lol:
