Is this response a reply to the letter we suggested or was it a response to a different letter you sent? It looks like the K1 interviews are starting to happen, but, there seems to continue to be a problem with cr1 interviews.

After reading the letter that was posted I see they are very aware of us here at VJ...... Seeing the letter was not just addressing the K-1 but every Visa process. I pray and hope that know that they have acknowledge us and know what is going on things will start to pick up. Though they did admit that different countries have different volumes of applications but will be doing all that they can. I pray that this process now will be moving along at a better pace.

All We Can Do IS PRAY!!!!!

I forwarded the letter we suggested to the consulate a couple of days ago. I think that is the letter they are refering to...

My wife's case was completed at NVC on December 2, 2009. Could someone tell me how long it would take for her to be schedule for an interview at Accra consulate?

I see that you posted on your time line that NVC sent your information to the Ghana Embassy. How did you find that out, but just calling NVC or did they send you an email?

One thing that I don't get is that they seem to process each visa at a different rate. I am doing the IR-1 and my case has been completed since Jan. 2010 and I have yet to hear anything and according to your profile your info is at the embassy. I thought the interviews were done based on a priority date?

Also, the governor of my state is my mom's cousin and I have asked him, as well as a senator that is a family friend, to help me out and their hands are tied. We have all tried to get my husband here quickly, but nothing. Everything is up the Embassy and no government official here can do anything. But I do like how we are making it painfully aware to the US Embassy as well as others that it must change or go at a faster rate to process these visas.

This is to the one that I have written from before. Still waiting on the one that we suggested.

I will be more then happy. Maybe it will help those that have fear to what it may do to thier process. Give them hope that all will be fine.

I had called the NVC and they told me that it was mailed out on that date. A week later I had recieved the hard copy from them.

If the embassy knows everything about VJ and knows our plight then there's no need sending letters to anywhere. I suggest we rather keep posting things here and am sure they'll see it.

They are truly aware
