I have a biometric appointment letter that I got for good faith marriage application on July 1st at 2:00 pm in Salt Lake City. Does anyone know that I can just go and walk in to have it done? Do I need to be there exactly on 2:00 or can I come like 2 hours earlier?

I have another important thing at the same time but it is not worth it to request a different time.

Thanks

* Got married in August 2008

* initial interview in March 2009

* Green card received in May 2009

* Divorce January 2010

* I-751 filed April 27 of 2010

* Biometrics was supposed to be July 1st but I did a walk-in June 16 2010

* I don't know what's next

Yes, other people have walked in. Just show up and tell them you can't make it that day.

Thanks a lot for the answer...

Do you think doing a walk-in speeds up the approval letter?

There's no solid evidence, but I hope so! I believe they send the finger prints off to the FBI. My husband went and had his done the first week of May and said everyone was really easy going. He didn't realize that it was THAT picture that would end up on his greencard though.. so go prepared and looking nice!

Walk in biometrics was successful

I was the only one there and it was so fast. They were very kind

How long do you think it will take to hear back from them?

Thanks

:time: It's too hard to guess without knowing more. My husband got the notice on Apr 16, about a week after AOS was trasfered to CSC. He waited until his May 3 appointment. His greencard is dated 5/13/2010 even though we didnt receive text/email notification until May 21.
